Very nice park well mantained and easily accessible my kids are always quick to suggest we go to this park my younger children love the playground my older children love the track so it is a win-win for my family each time we come out to Veteran's Memorial Park for exercise or a free event
Really nice park to come walk, run, or jog around the track. Nice soft track is great on the feet. I don't actually use the track myself. I'm not a fan of going around in little circles 20 times. I walk around the courthouse and down to the DMV building then around the park itself.
Great track for running or jogging, plenty of shaded areas. Clean public bathrooms. There is a playground for kids and also an outdoor stage for concerts. This is a great outside rec area. Plenty of trees and friendly people. A water fountain in front of the court house also very pretty.
First time here and it's great! Nice, flat .5 mile track with paths to shorten the walk if you want. Curvy path that has beautiful landscaping, a picnic area, playground equipment and restrooms.
