My daily walks on the track are good. Friendly atmosphere. A few left over trash from people's barbecuing and homeless men sleeping on the benches. But the park is kept up. I enjoy the scenery and the environment, so much better than living in the South dirtiest Bronx.
…Track's good for runs, courts always busy, skate park is a nice add. Dog run is whatever, kinda muddy. Gets hectic on summer weekends with BBQs and music everywhere. Some corners feel sketchy at night. Daytime it's the heart of the neighborhood.
…The running track is nice--4 laps around is equivalent to a mile. I walked a mile and a half at 9am this morning (3/28/2026). The bathrooms are nice, and they have two pool tables. Can't wait to pick up a cue stick for myself.
…A park full of amenities for all ages ranging from Track and Field to outdoor swimming. Thomas Jefferson Park also boasts a Recreation center for children & seniors.
