I had the incredible opportunity to visit the Randal Tyson Track Center to watch my niece, a gold medalist in the long jump at the 2025 NACAC Championships, compete. As someone not from Arkansas, I was completely blown away by the facility and its history.
Watching my 12 year old great granddaughter running track is a joy, because she loves it so much, she ran against high schoolers and won 3rd place in the 60m and 2 place in the 200m,it's simply amazing that at her age she can compete with that age group, and she is a straight A student, so very…
Exceptional facility which supports an under-appreciated and under-promoted, consistently nationally ranked track and field program (Men's AND in recent years Women) at UA. Between this indoor facility and the John McDonnell outdoor facility, UA is world class in this sport and best in the SEC.
…The track is as fast or faster than any other indoor track worldwide. The acoustics and proximity of spectators to the action makes it very exciting for the athletes.
