…3rd Lair built some new ramps for Oval recently, and they're sweet. There's a run with a roll-in, a-frame, and quarter pipe. There's a ride-on rail and something like a practice quarter pipe. I'd love to see some more new stuff still, but it really opens up the possibilities with what they've done.
A friend introduced me to this indoor walking track that overlooks the skate rink. It's also fun to sit inside and watch the outdoor rink skaters. I go there strictly to walk the track. My skating days are long gone.
In summer my kids play on the ramps with skateboards and scooters while I roller skate around the oval. It's nice.
