From the reviews
…The famous 1200m Harvard Tempo Loop is often frequented by Boston's elite training groups, and the track is always open to the public.
Public parking and public use of track when not in use by athletes = A+++ Great community feature
The track was McCurdylicious. Careful in the rain as the field can get quite soggy, it's a good place to run laps or practice your standard track activities. The fence/gate is sometimes closed, so access can be hit or miss. Would run again.
The track itself is in good condition but lacks good lighting for nighttime running. It can get pretty busy, so check to see if there are any Harvard practices going on at the time you will be there. Plenty of port-a-potties next to the track that are serviced regularly.
