From the reviews
MaCarren park is one of the best outdoors track and field there is in Brooklyn. It is a soccer field with a 400-meter track & has 8-lanes which is very convenient for social distancing. The park itself also has a little gym area where you can do push ups, pull ups and ellipticals.
I always go to McCarren Park track for my weekly speed run. My favorite time is Tuesday evening because you can really get inspired by other runners that are on the track just like you (if you like less busy day don’t go on Tuesday or Wednesday).
A great asset to North Williamsburg. The track is rubber bound surface, so easier on the joints. Local running clubs often meet here, but it's open to all.
The track Is great but water fountains are not working. They also should have urinals or some tall bushes area where people can pee with privacy. Running and doing sports involves a lot of drinking. A lot of drinking makes people pee.
