Great track to work out at. Field is always we'll kept and in great shape. Weekday evenings they also keep the field we'll lit, I think untill 10:00pm, for folks to feel comfortable to work out in the evenings. Really a nice track.
Great field and track. Field is turf. There are goals for soccer, and for football. When used by middle school / high school teams the track is closed - probably due to Covid. Crowded in the afternoons and everythings, mainly by kids that play on the field and older runners / walker on the track.
…Nice artificial turf with a decent track to go around it. I'm in favor of this over real grass and the area is very nice too. I see many people walking the track and the occasional group of kids playing on the field (despite signs prohibiting it)
This Football field may be the John Geissinger Field, but the surrounding Track and its facilities are the Bob Waterman Track. Bob had an amazing record as track coach for Tenafly High School with a record of 835 wins, 25 losses.
