…I have used its dirt track for both running and contemplative walks. While San Francisco has a plethora of great walking routes, there is something uniquely meditative about walking around the Polo Field track. Maybe it's the sweeping Vista or the lush grass or even the geese grazing on said grass?
…This was just a very large track and the internet tells how many times around is a mile and it seem like there was a lot of regulars walking their dog and running around it getting their exercise. I even ran which is a big deal for me
I love riding my bike on the track. On most mornings, it is windy making it harder to travel east on the track. Sometimes they will close the cycling track if there are games played on the soccer field.
