From the reviews
This is a beautiful park. The track is in great shape and the grounds are pretty clean considering the amount of use I think the place gets! I only wish the playground were fenced in, but it is covered, which is important during summer months!
I love the track! The track is amazing and very convenient. It is very well maintained and almost always available for my workouts. I only wish that the people who use the park area would not leave all of their trash and litter the grounds.
Only fully public rubber track I've seen in Florida, having been to Ocala, Jax and Tallahassee actively looking for a public place to run that is easier on my joints/knees. Great job to the city of Gainesville. Also includes a decent set of basketball courts.
It's quiet, clean and good parking. I love the rubber track. The only drawback is the track clubs are often there. The kids are usually very polite and mannerable but I don't like to walk when so many kids and hurdle bars in the way.
