This morning, I visited Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium with my sister and a friend to run on the track and do some stair climbs. Over the years, I’ve also attended several football games there with my sisters and friends.
I have had high school football 7 on 7 tournaments here and I have had NCAA collegiate track and field meets at this stadium and it is a very high quality in field turf and the track and fast and comfortable to run and jump on.
This is a fun track for spring training, especially if you are from the North and missing out on snow! Well laid out, I just wish there was also an East-West Option for the pole vault with prevailing winds. Resurfaced infield is nice, and it's a good atmosphere.
…Football, soccer, lacrosse or track. Cool turf field and quality lighting. Good hosts and friendly environment. Usually decent parking. Three or four different exit locations.
