This is a gravel path in the shape of an oval. There is space for many activities. I was tricked into playing adult kickball here. Still feeling some type of way about that.
Nice track but the people who utilize it have no running courtesy. Expect people to slow walk on the inside of the track and not move over for you if you are running (timing yourself). People would rather you run over them.
The active oval is ACTIVE! I love ovals as shapes as they remind me of the track. This active oval has a ton of runners and activity goers alike. Inside the active oval there are baseball and soccer fields, along with a beach volleyball area.
It was raining when we visited the park but that gave us the opportunity to hang out in the nearby Picnic Pavilion and look out over the Oval. A big open space that is perfect for sports, flying a kit, tossing a frisbee or just picnic if there isn't an event going on.
