Where to run track laps in Houston

Houston running is organized around one thing: the heat. From late spring through fall you run at dawn or after dark, which makes lit tracks and early-morning access genuinely important here. The metro is huge and flat, with park and school tracks spread across it, so check the map before you assume "near me" is actually near you.

What local runners say

Went there to walk around the track they've done an excellent job with it however I think it's lock now where is not available to the public

I love this fast track. I broke all comers summer track and field records at this stadium. The event was a charity soccer game. Newly renovated it needs a pathway to get to the Stadium that is not bogged down with water when it rains. My a mini bridge to go over to get to dry land on the other side.

Absolutely beautiful! The track is very nice and you can hear hummingbirds in the bushes all around you. What a dream. Parking is $2 for 2 hours. You can download the Houston Parking App ahead of time to save time.
